Benefits of Rubber Flooring in Dairy Farms:

Comfort for Cows: Dairy cows spend a significant portion of their lives standing and walking around. Rubber flooring, like the Terrain® Bubble Top Mat, provides excellent cushioning, reducing stress on joints and hooves, leading to healthier and more productive cows.

Slip Resistance: The inherent slip-resistant nature of rubber flooring enhances cow safety, preventing potential injuries caused by slipping, especially in areas prone to moisture or spills.

Easy to Clean: Rubber flooring is non-porous and resistant to moisture, making it easy to clean and maintain. This is essential for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in dairy facilities.

Noise Reduction: Milking parlors and feeding areas can get noisy. Rubber flooring absorbs sound, creating a quieter and calmer atmosphere that contributes to animal comfort.

Advantages of Rubber Flooring in Horse Stables:

Joint Health: Horses' joints are vulnerable to damage from constant impact on hard surfaces as they canter or walk. Rubber flooring provides a supportive surface that reduces strain on joints, promoting healthier horses.

Hygienic and Low Maintenance: Rubber flooring is resistant to moisture and easy to clean, crucial for preventing bacterial growth and ensuring a clean environment in stables.

Comfortable Resting Area: Horses are known to spend a long time resting. The cushioning effect of rubber mats, like the Terrain® Hammer Top, offers a comfortable and relaxing, contributing to the overall well-being of the animals.

Durability: Heavy-duty rubber flooring can withstand the weight of horses and their activities in stables, ensuring a longer lifespan compared to traditional flooring materials.

By choosing rubber flooring, farmers can create an optimal living and working space for their livestock, leading to better productivity and well-being. Terrain® offers a wide range of resilient flooring solutions, such as Polyurethane and EPDM Wet Pour, which can be used in other parts of the farm as well.
