When a prestigious Abu Dhabi-based client approached us for a sports flooring project, we were taken aback by their requirement. The project involved installing a mammoth 11,000 square feet of acrylic flooring<\/a> \u2013 something that can take up to two months to complete - in a measly eight days. Some would say that taking up such a project is destined for failure, but we said, \u201cChallenge accepted!\u201d<\/p>\n

In true Terrain style, we pulled up our socks, got down to work and completed the project on time, without compromising on quality.<\/p>\n

So how did we achieve the impossible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Planning<\/strong>
\nWe know how important planning is for any successful project. The Terrain Floorings team conducted an extensive site survey to understand it thoroughly and formulate an execution plan. Before installation began, the site was also meticulously prepared. This pre-installation planning ensured that once the actual installation started, it proceeded smoothly without any major obstacles.<\/p>\n

The Team<\/strong>
\nThe project's success hinged almost entirely on the dedication and expertise of our team. Five Terrain Floorings core team members worked with over 55 support staff to ensure that everything proceeded smoothly and without delays. The five team leads brought their unique skills and leadership styles and were able to leverage their experience in leading the multifaceted team without any hiccups.<\/p>\n

Supplier Support<\/strong>
\nOne of the biggest potential bottlenecks for a project like this is the availability of a sufficient amount of high-quality raw materials. Over the years, Terrain has built a strong relationship with our suppliers, and we were able to leverage this to ensure that everything went smoothly and without delays.<\/p>\n

Innovation<\/strong>
\nIt was clear to us from the off that a project like this cannot be completed conventionally. The team brainstormed to devise innovative methods to speed up the installation process, and their quick thinking during tricky situations not only reduced installation time, but also ensured that the excellent quality for which Terrain Floorings is known was maintained.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
